I decided to play at PPA this week...another one of Margaret Moody's wonderful sketches. I have always loved sketches similar to this one...I purchased (one of the benefits of being a demo) a 3X3 square stack of samples of every kind of DSP that Stampin' Up had to offer (this was from last year). It is on an "O" ring so each sheet has a hole in the corner. This project was perfect to pull out theses samples, the center square hid my little holes. I chose the "Flock Together" DSP. I cut 4 squares in half, then in half again to make 1 1/2" squares. Nifty, huh? I then strategically placed them around until I knew that I had...."the look". I needed a sympathy card and I think that this one turned out so great! I will be able to make more than one card with the other squares too...
Thanks for looking! I would love to hear your comments.
Stamp Sets: Thoughts and Prayers
Ink: Bermuda Bay (which was close...the closest that I had)
Paper: Very Vanilla, So Saffron, Garden Green, Flock Together DSP
Ribbon: So Saffron (freebie from SAB a year or two back)
Tools: Stamp-a-ma-jig
Extras: paper flower and summer sun corduroy button, foam pop ups
Glad to see you back! Your card is so pretty and I loved how you covered the holes in your squares ... great thinking!
ReplyDeleteAren't you clever figuring out how to use those squares! Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh, how pretty! Great paper and all of your touches are perfect!
ReplyDeleteStephanie, this is so pretty! Those DSP squares were just perfect for this sketch! Love the bow and the flower!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely believe that which you stated. Your favorite reason appeared to be on the web the simplest thing to be aware of. I say to you,Cccam Server I certainly get annoyed while people consider worries that they plainly don't know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thanks
